He was just a physical freak who hadn't found his spot yet. Junior year they finally put him on the line on pass rush situations, and he took off.

Exactly.
But what I’m trying to say is now days “experience” is overrated especially if you wanna be an elite team.
Elite teams have freshman that are better than mediocre teams 4th year seniors.
Last years national title game had two true freshman QBs.
Alabama was actually one of the younger teams in the country. Georgia probably is this year
The game is changing, these kids (the really good ones) can ball at 18-19 years old
