I'll throw Lindsey Nelson in there although I never heard him call a Vol game...his calls of the Cotton Bowl on CBS when I was a kid were legendary...Paul Eels with Vandy and later Arkansas was a great one...anyone who could make a Vandy football game seem interesting had to be good.

I got to hear Lindsey Nelson call a lot of games...He was was one of the best....And you are right, I think about him every year watching the Cotton Bowl.
