I dont. Can't speak for everyone (but apparently you can). I'd be ecstatic for Ole Miss to go 11-1. As long as we are 12-0.
As historically average as we both are, it's much easier for one of us to be "up" while the other is "down" though. There's no denying that. And having USM as a SWAC level doormat helps us both, at least a little (depth wise).

My grandmother went there and half my family are MSU supporters. When Mullen was hired, he turned the focus more to hating Ole Miss. The rivalry became toxic and a good bit of your fans made it their aim to take down Ole Miss. Visting Ole Miss message boards will show you post after post of complaining about coaches and such. If you visit MSU message boards, more time than not, you will see threads about Ole Miss. What Mullen did for the rivalry was not good and not healthy. I am hoping that Moorhead and whatever coach Ole Miss has can make the rivalry fun again and less toxic.
