It doesn't seem like we're going to meet enough resistance for Damien to get there. I mean we just aren't going to give him carries in the second half of these blowouts. However, he could still get there. Think about this...
Right now, at his current pace of 59 yards per game, he is on pace for 850 yards if we play in 15 games. To get to 1,000 yards, he'll need to average 68.5 yards per game over the remaining 12 games. That, to me, seems pretty doable. I just have a feeling he's going to have a couple of 150+ yard games based on busting a couple long runs.
We'll see. I think Texas A&M next week will provide enough resistance for him to be touching the ball well into the third quarter (although I hope they don't
