On a more serious note:
1) Some coaches are good at building teams. Other coaches are good at taking teams to that final level. I'm not sure Mullen can do the latter--he didn't at MSU, but maybe he can at a school with more resources. Either way, he gave no evidence to suggest he can.
2) Mullen's recruiting is awful, and that can be part of the reason for point (1).
3) If you wanted a coach that could reliably win 8-9 games a year, you got a good one Florida. But there will be some infuriating losses, and I'm not sure that Florida has the patience to stick with Mullen through those.
