Obviously different in that we’ve played two games with two different starters and Fitzgerald coming off a major injury that limited him in spring and to an extent in fall. But,looking game by game at PSU in 2016, McSorley struggled as well. I think the bright side is Moorhead has been through this before and will find ways to get playmakers the ball if the down field passing game doesn’t click. It will obviously be a struggle in the SEC West if the downfield passing doesn’t come around, but I’m still hoping Fitzgerald can improve enough to make it a threat and keep some of the pressure off the running game once we get into conference play.

Without looking at our first two games, those completion percentages feel significantly better than ours.

The receivers were not helping Fitzgerald out much. That was a fantastic pass to Austin Williams in the corner of the end zone on the first drive that he should have caught.

There is like a 30 minute youtube video of how he runs his offense and the WR progressions. I watched it a couple of times and the video is spot on from what i've seen play wise. That swing pass to Kylin Hill was textbook Joe Moorhead. Matt Wyatt breaks it down too.
