If this was coming from a guy who only deals with Alabama folks living in Slidell or Lafayette, yea it very much would. I'm guessing those people have harsher feelings towards LSU than Alabama folks living in Birmingham or Atlanta.

You are generally correct as far as opinions of LSU are concerned.
But I know what I see, and it's interesting that Alabama's or Auburn's fan base, whether in Atlanta/New Orleans/Bumfrick, Arkansas will admit rooting for one or the other against LSU
Location doesn't seem to matter. Neither side will admit to actually doing it IRL.
I posed a "why" question. Both sides are playing stupid.
Its just funny.
