Trystan Castillo said that TBJ is “running like a cheeta” or some other fast running cat. I can’t remember the quote and I’m too lazy to look it up.

We’ve got an interior D-line that will be stellar, and that’s a big deal in this conference even if our pass rush isn’t full of NFL 1st rounders.

Our linebackers are more than solid. The front 7 should be sneaky good, if not obviously good. That should take pressure off the back end which:

Could actually be good with the big ? at safety.

The Mizzou D might actually be pretty decent this year with some dominant performances along the D line and at LB...

That’s huge

The O has some ?s, but should be solid. And I shouldn’t have to say why.

This could be a legit 10 win team. It could falter, yes, but it has a ton of potential.

Can we please stop worrying about the ifs ands or butts about attendance and recruiting and focus on the season that is 1 week away?

I hated last year, but I find myself optimistic and hopeful for a good season this year. Let’s do that. Instead of always looking at what isn’t.

I'm calling it...After drew Lock lights up Bama for 300+ yards in the upset, he takes over as the Heisman front runner.

There is a ton to be excited about. I really have no idea why there aren't more fans hyped for this season. It's mind boggling.

I think a lot of the fans probably dropped off after the 1-5 start last year and just haven’t kept up with what’s going on with the team. So they are approaching this season with caution.

Just read a couple of things that say the defense might be sneaky good this year. Lock was asked what is Mizzou’s X-factor this year? His response was the defense.

If the D is actually much improved, this could be an awesome year for Mizzou football. Even if not, I’ll enjoy watching Lock drop bombs to hall and Albert O all season.

Lock will have to improve on his picks. I'm excited for this upcoming season, but I still approach it with caution. BO and the players seem to think that they will be better.
