Why not just hook up his TV to Roku?
My Dad is well into his 80s and he loves that stuff, the old stuff on YouTube.

I know what Roku is but have never used it myself. However, the rural area of the state he lives has poor service of all types. Not sure if it would work well...
However, if there is a possibility that it could work then I will definitely look into it more.
