Nice to see Oliver taking reps with the #1s and breaking up a pass.

Sparks got beat for 2 TDs. Bounced off off AO and Hall beat him to the corner.

That was a great throw and play on the ball. Sparks had good position Hall. Not many CBs in the league are going to win one on one vs either Hall or Albert.
The true FR Rb got a good taste of it

Perfect throw on that Hall TD. Not much Sparks could do.
Sick move by Crockett also.

I hope that was a case of the defense being told told to stay away from the knees. Hilton should have committed low and dropped him in his tracks.

Y'all's offense seems to be in better shape then a lot of SEC teams at this point. Our defense looks greatly improved at Arkansas... which won't help us much if our O-line and QB play does not improve.
This could be one of those sneaky good Mizzou teams that hangs around and hangs around until you realize its the last two games of the season and they are tied for the lead in the East.

I saw that Peavy is now at FAU, and probably is going to start.

He's a solid talent. Our big problem is our QBs are built for standing tall in the pocket... which would be nice if our O-Line wasn't shifting people over from the D-Line at the moment.
No. Really. We are moving people over to the O-Line just to get enough warm bodies. Bert fricked us. Bad.
While we are still working on our O-line problems and that is likely to take some time, we are loaded to the gills with offensive talent. We have a wonderful crop of QBs coming into the program and skilled position players. We just can't block to save our lives.
If we get decent line play we win 8 games this year easy and I do mean easy. As is we are hoping to get bowl eligible. If only for the extra practices.

It's tough to determine much from these scrimmage videos. The only great play that wasn't a one on one drill was Albert's TD on Sparks. When the QB doesn't have to move off his spot and can wait until he sees the back of the defender's jersey to release it tips the scales heavily one way.

I'm sure it was. If you noticed the long Okwuegbunam play something similar played out. In a game Dparks would have cut his legs right after he caught the ball. Instead he jumped on his back.

You forgot we're dumpster fire and suck....yeah sarcasm but that's why it was a TD; not bc Lock made a good throw

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your indepth analysis on this board; not just on this post, but overall. For someone like me that never really played organized football, its really fascinating and informative to read and learn about some of the finer points of how the game is played. Thank you.

I enjoy discussing the game and things that can put the players in a position to win. Thank you.
