If we eliminate UGA in the SECC, there is no guarantee we beat OSU and OU in the playoffs. Both programs gave us rather convincing losses the last times we met.

I’ll take a title in hand and a top 5 recruiting class over a #1 recruiting class and the uncertainty of playing the top 2 offenses in the country.

In case you haven't noticed, Saban realized there was a problem and assembled the greatest recruiting staff we've ever seen. And it's paying off in spades. We're sitting here in August with a #1 ranked class that is 3/4 full and we're wondering which 5 stars will finish it out. If we can keep this staff intact 1 or 2 more seasons, our depth chart will be the stuff legends are made of.

Quit bellyaching about a blip on the radar. Kirby is a good coach. UGA is here to stay because he's home and isn't going anywhere and neither is UGA. But neither are we. Saban just signed an extension, this staff is full of Jedi recruiting wizards and the cupboard ain't exactly bare. The defense may be a little weaker this year: only top 5, and not historic. The offense has the potential to pick up the slack and be the GOAT in Alabama football history, and that is saying something. If UGA wants to be The Man, they gotta beat The Man, and brother, WE ARE THE MAN! So if Kirby thinks he's taking our place, he better pack a lunch, because it's going to be an all fricking day job. Bring it, Bulldogs!
