I know we willhave talent on the roster next year but most of it will be young and we are losing alot on defense after this season. I feel like kt may not be until season 3 or 4 before Chad has a chance to really make some noise. Man bert fricked us smh

I don't think so. We have no QB this season. By next year, Morris will have found a guy to run his system (maybe Hyatt, Noland, or freshman KJ Jefferson)

But yes, Bert created a problem that will take years to fix

I just think having a solid defense will carry you farther than a qb especially a 1st year starter If ty or cole dont take command this year. I mean just look how far bama LSU and recently auburn have got with sub par qb play but with good defense and a good run game.

I agree with you on that. But Auburn and LSU's d-line and o-line play is going to be far superior to ours this year. I could overlook the sub-par QB play if we had the talent around him. I don't think we do. I guess I'm just pessimistic.

I'm not saying we will be good. I'm saying we will be even worse next year

If Cole Kelley manages to last two years hopefully they just have some fun and start winning football games. A freshman at wide receiver is 10x better than a freshman at quarterback, right?

I actually think we will be better next year then we are this year. We will lose some folks but we have some good talent coming in. The big concern is the O-Line... the one thing that Bert was supposed to be great at stockpiling.

Even if Kelly and Storey both suck the meat missile running the Chad Attack we have recruited a small horde of QBs who can run it.

It will take some time to dig ourselves out of the hole we put ourselves in but I think we have a shot at being respectable in a year or two.

I'm worried that our OL play is going to hold back the offense for several seasons. It's been 3 or 4 seasons since we really recruited OL well. That's bad. I'm afraid it will put our defense in to really bad situations and we won't see how much better they really are under the new staff.

I'm also wondering with the way we are loading up on DTs if a guy like Austin Capps would end up moving to the OL. Maybe we get lucky and stumble on a grad transfer or 2 for next season.

I do kind of get that feeling, but we may actually have more seniors and rs juniors next season than we do this season.

I did say in 2016 that this was the year we were building towards. I could have been wrong

If this happens then Chadillac will be on the Hot seat in year 3 with a 9 or 10 win season to save his arse.

We couldn't be a whole hell of a lot worse. I'm optimistic that we will be better, but not so much that Chad takes us to the promised land during his tenure.
