Prolly not caused by Turf, but, maybe was good enough for Mississippi; that, & the fact that it was used against them in recruiting.

Plastic is being used against ArKansas (both Stadia), Missouri, Kentucky, & Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt & Kentucky had such beautiful grass, too.

Problem is late fall weather in CKY is about 10 to 30 degrees cooler that the rest of the SEC so by the second week of October and the month of November it goes dead and looks bad.

I would much rather they stayed with real grass but I get why they did it.

They still grow some of the best grass tho in the Daniel Boone National Forest.
