a lot of posters on this board didn't think these two were "big" enough to carry the load 20 times a game

And if they are “big” enough in comparison to K-Mart, then coupled with Gus’ recent comment on Cox, we are freakin due for the Cox-cat/whirlybird. Let that sink in.

The Cox whirlybird is dead as Gus knows if he ran it he would open the door for scrutiny and fanbase questioning that took a long time to get rid of. CoxCat run up the gut on 3rd and 1? I could see that as he's 241lb. He's repping him out preparing for the scenario that should Kam get hurt or look bad in pass pro, he's got a guy who blocks for a living back there. 3rd and 9 (not near own endzone)? Everyone knows it's a nearly 100% passing down so having Cox in is no big deal, not 'giving away' the play. 3rd and 3? I don't see him being in the game on many of those unless the run game is on a hot streak.

Gus wants one of the other RBs to step up as a solid #2, #1B. Also is sort of a challenge to the young backs that it's there if you step up and grind. Cox is a backup if there's no separation.
