During Sparky's tenure he had 2 teams invited to the Independence Bowl. Our AD at the time had no vision and rejected the bowl invitations because they could interrupt exams. They were never committed to winning football games at USC until Lou Holtz came in. Sadly those teams could've used the extra practices etc. It made me hate King Dixon for sure

Could not agree with you more.

Sparky was definitely not the worst .... it was, by far, Fat Bradstard Scott.

That fat bastard set us on a 21 game losing streak that only Lou Holtz could have saved us from. If thr fat bastard had not been fired the streak could have gone on for years. He was that bad.
