2017 -Eight days after Clemson beat Boston College on Sept. 23, head football coach Dabo Swinney had a message for the university’s students.

“We need our students to be there the whole game. And we need our fans to be there in the third quarter,” Swinney said on his weekly teleconference ahead of last weekend's Wake Forest game.

“We need to show up, and let’s have the same great atmosphere every single week, not be a place that shows up (just) for GameDay or night games.
