With one month to go, I’ve never seen a team who was completely mired in the middle of the pack suddenly put on a full sprint the way Georgia has. In one blinding week they have closed right up with the leaders. Now it is a “pick’um” as we turn into the top of the stretch.

I thought State would walk away this year after the LSU challenge ran off the rails in an orgy of backbiting, recrimination, and “Oh” hum...and at the same time that the A&M disciplined approach degenerated into a confused mess. With Tennessee in a state of irrelevance, I think it will be a delicious two-team race to the line between rivals...Georgia and Auburn.

The delusions are strong and reaching critical mass with these two. I doubt State, USCe or LSU will be able to generate the volume and sillyness to stay with the leaders as DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME...

Dont confuse optimism from State fans as them believing theyre going to win any championship. We are just happy to be competitive and make it fun.

I hope UF can just cancel the season...its obvious Georgia will dominate for 30 yrs and every SEC team is scared.

I have to say UGA has run away with it. I agree they should be optimistic after an SEC Championship, a playoff win, an almost National Title, all a year ahead of schedule and followed up by a number one recruiting class. The perfect setup to go through another season excited but only to learn that Bama is still the king in the post season.

MSU has a real shot at being very good. In my opinion it's going to rest on the defense. The talent is there no doubt. I'm hoping Shoop gives some slack to our two assist coaches who coached us thru the Louisville game. They had a game plan using our strengths. We shall see.
