You are missing my point.
If Bama won the conference 20 years in a row that doesn’t make the SEC a one team conference if there are several other very good teams in the conference.
So at least we are admitting that the only comparison to the SEC is the big 10.

1) If there were other teams who were very good on a regular basis, they would manage to win the conference a few times.
2) Even if I granted your point (which I don't), shouldn't it also apply to the Big Ten? Seems like you are applying two different standards of evaluation.

The 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s the big 10 was a deeper league

The SWC was arguably a better conference than the SEC in the 1980s. Six teams won the conference championship in that decade.
