You want to hold them to the same standard as an academic scholarship? That would require grades that would qualify for an academic scholarship.

They don't have to sit out of classes. They get classes immediately.

The rule is that they can't play after a transfer unless they have already earned their diploma. Otherwise they sit for a year.

Why do the kids have to sign a LOI? That's a question for the ncaa. I don't know if they are smart enough to answer that one.
