If it’s program specific, there’s no good reason they shouldn’t have it for Media Days.
I see that now. But when the coaches were speaking it was not closed caption. Paul Finebaum Show is something else.

I wonder if that’s how they’ve gotten around the FCC requirement, by offering it on some programming but not others.
Still shitty nonetheless. It’s not like ESPN doesn’t use the service for other live talk programs because it does.
