Seriously, I really think South Carolina is about to do some really big things. Spurrier did a heck of a job for you, but he did leave you in bad shape. But, years ago it would have taken years to get back to being strong again. A slow process. The fact that there is so much progress so quickly tells me you guys will be back soon and in a big way.
In an odd twist, I think Spurrier had something to do with the quick come back. He proved South Carolina could compete on a big time level, so recruits are more willing to go there.

Yes he did ... that's true.
But it's really mUSChamp. He should get all the credit. His work ethic is incredible and the way he drives every aspect of the football program. Nothing goes unnoticed by him. He's a good manager. That's what will take us to the next level and allow is to sustain it this time hopefully.
Now, what we can give SPURrier a ton of credit for is facilities and donations. He brought that waaaaaaay up. Made people believe. Got them donating money. Donated money himself. The Indoor Practice Facility is a shrine to what he accomplished with regard to those sort of things.

Thank you for being rational about this game. I don't think any Gamecock fan is saying we're gonna stomp y'all or its any kind of definite W this year. It's hardly that. Georgia fans should know more that most that since basically 2000, it's always a pretty tight game between us, as even last year was tighter than most for y'all when we were at your house against best team y'all have had. We've had success against y'all at home and your fans who just think you're gonna walk in and run us out Williams Brice are kidding themselves.
