Wait and see attitude with Pruitt?

UT has one of the most brutal stretches I can remember in recent memory--

5 game gauntlet:

vs Florida
@ Georgia
@ Auburn
vs Alabama
@ South Carolina

Do you win the opener vs Grier and West Virginia in Charlotte?

I have the Vols at 6-6 with that schedule.

This should be Holgo's best team at WVU and I expect them to put a giant, crooked number on Tennessee. If they lose, Holgo will be fired after the season.

I only see 4 good teams in that stretch. 4 teams that had a winning record last year.

I think they have a 50/50 shot in the opener.

Florida will be tough, but winnable. They'll go 0 for the next four.

I don't think Tennessee fans are on this site anymore.

But I'd be surprised if WV scores less than 45 on Tennessee. There is absolutely 0 reason to believe that the Vols could prevent that from happening. New defensive scheme, new head coach, new culture, no proven RB, shittty QB with an shittty backup. I expect this season to look a lot last last year.

With that being said, TN will probably be relevant in 3 years or so.

Only if the UT defense can keep WVU from putting up 40-plus while scoring in the 40s themselves...

Just my opinion, though. You can rest assured that WVU is going to throw the ball all over the field...a typical Big-12 offense. Question is, will they (WVU) have a decent defense?
