We are hoping Buford will be that first big step.

Glad to get a good start going with Lutheran North.

Here's their coach pouring water on some of the supposed bad vibes from MU haters in the STL from previous years in a podcast with Gabe.

I think we are in good shape with Marcus Washington, Ira Henry, Kyren Williams and CJ Boone. Not saying we get all of them, but we have a legitimate shot. We appear to have a shot with Jalani Williams too.

The tide does seem to be turning a bit in STL

Just watched Washington and Kyren Williams' HUDL. I know it's just highlights, but I really liked Williams tape. The kid will lay a shoulder, has solid speed, is shifty as hell and can see creases I swear weren't there even when rewinding it. And damn. Some of those hits he laid as a DB were solid.

Unless Buford and his family can whisper some sweet nothings in his ear, Washington up to this point is I hate to say it, but Ohio St. to lose. Buford and his parents said that they are going to put a full-court press on a few of the top St. Louis recruits including Washington.

You keep saying that but it's not accurate.

Washington could end up at Ohio St but we are VERY much in it with him. Marcus and his Dad really like the staff. They like the idea of being close to home. He and Buford are very good friends. There were some rumors that he was close to committing to us earlier, before Buford even committed.

We are in good shape here.

Washington has stated in a couple of interviews that tOSU is his "dream" school. Meyer is also holding the "recruiting ambassador" card in his back pocket. They will be tough to hold off considering he intends to announce his commitment the first week in August and has two trips planned to Columbus this summer.

There is no good reason we cant take ST Louis back. I had doubts Odom would facilitate that but if he can, well, things will be much brighter for him and Mizzou.
