The article was well written, but did not provide any new information about Auburn.

Holy hell that was the longest article of absolutely no content I've read in my life. It was well written, but with a horrible agenda to prove yet no facts to prove it with that he could print.

That article did make one thing clear, and that's that Jay Jacobs is a poor leader. He should have been in the middle of that whole ordeal andgotten down to the bottom of it immediately or canned everyone's arse that wouldn't talk to him.

Yet, he threw everyone he could to sidestep the matter like it was a political issue he didn't want to pick a side on.

Furthermore, he hired Corey even after his clear issues in the last including another University that wouldn't let him coach any longer. I'm glad he's gone. Frankly, anyone that has a $500k pension that takes a lower level position somewhere else has issues imo. He can't take not having the ability to make decisions any longer, while he was crappy at making them.

I'm also not convinced that Clint didn't tell Jacobs early on that if Corey is fired Clint would quit. So Jacobs did everything he could to side step which burned Auburn, instead of dealing with it appropriately early on.

It was like they were trying to make the entire thing into a novel.
