Mullen’s biggest weakness is his loyalty to his best buds Hevesy and Gonzo. Neither of them recruit well and they’re just average coaches. If he hired a real O-line coach that could recruit and a solid wr coach he could be elite. But there have been horror stories on how bad of a recruiter Hev is and Mullen doesn’t do anything about it.

This already an issue wrt our recruiting especially the OL

I agree about recruiting but have to give Hev credit for coaching. State's OL has been ranked in the Top 10 at some point(s) within the past several seasons despite mostly 3-star recruits.
