Agree to disagree.
And without tax incentives, there is literally no incentive available by the government to influence more jobs and work.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for the fair tax. That would eliminate the income tax leverage and loopholes. Other than property tax, it would create the fairest playing ground in a free economy. I would take that in a heartbeat.
But if I have the opportunity for my government to work harder than neighboring state governments to bring in jobs, them I'm going to take it. And guess what state gets the jobs and what state fails to see progreas as the calendar moves along?
