I never voted for Deal. He is a crook.

So was Kasim Reed, but they had such a great working relationship that it resulted in a lot of economic growth for the state. They handed out massive tax breaks like candy to lure companies here, we'll see what the long term ramifications of that end up being.

My primary focus in any election is jobs.

It is not the governments job to create jobs. But the government sure does like to create regulation and taxes which stifle jobs.

And if handouts are given to lure jobs from other cities, I can live with that.

The alternative to jobs is unemployment, declining real estate values, and a declining tax base.

I havent decided who I am voting for. But I don't fear the last 15 years in how this state government has been run (knowing that a crook was at the helm for 8 of it and a special interest governor was there before him).

I agree.

What is your biggest concern with a tax break?

Is it the goverment's money?
Is it money that we had already ear marked for something else?
Is it the government stepping into the business of choosing winners and losers in a free market economy?

Only 1 of those bothers me. And if it creates more jobs than it costs Georgians... I can sleep at night.
