Leaving in good academic standing isn't the same as graduating. I'm not even sure what it means -- couldn't a freshman who aced all first semester classes and then decided to just quit school to deal drugs be said to have "left in good academic standing?"

At most institutions, good academic standing only equates to a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Some different policies exist that require enrollment in sufficient/correct classes that ensure adequate progression toward a degree, probation or suspension for consecutive semester GPAs below 2.0 regardless of Cum GPA, etc.

I assume the report accepts each college or university's standard for student standing.
