pretty sure I have a higher IQ than you.
there were Florida, Southern Cal, Texas, Michigan, Nebraska, Tenn , etc fans not that long ago bragging about their programs are elite.
Right now we know that most programs that win national titles are public universities located in the south.
Clemson getting Tajh Boyd and Watson back to back was a difference maker because they were QBs that could have made average teams into contenders. The QB is the most important position.
If Boyd had gone to SC during the Spurrier years, they probably do win at least one natty b/c their defense was probably the best.
Just 4 years ago, people thought SC was going to be a football power forever.
