Lose the chip jazzbo. I thought I was the only person left alive who still throws DDDfD out as a superlative. Lew Childre intro'ed me to that tidbit of culture back in the day. Put it on my pot when I went oversea's in the 60's and it was cool to do such.
Sorry, but it is discouraging to see people who delight in bringing negativity toward others for the sake of doing so. Hopefully, you just misread and reacted.
