It would not have mattered considering UGA brought in 7 composite 5 stars and 10 players total that were at least a 5 star by at least 1 recruiting service, both were all time records. The greatest 25 man class in the history of recruiting with Walthour taking a GS.

I'm not so sure about that. Six recruits (diff between 28 and 22) can make a huge difference, if they're the right ones.

Not even the greatest 25 man class in the last two years. The 24/7 Composite Class ranking looks at the top 25 players signed (not the entire class). Bama's 2017 class had a total score of 323.87 points. UGA's 2018 class had a score of 323.31.

Also, before we anoint any class as the "greatest 25 man class in the history of recruiting", let's see them on the field first.
