There are a lot of hidden truths. No one has figured out the identity of the Zodiac Killer, D.B. Cooper, or who has Rembrandt’s Storm on the Sea of Galilee.

As for fan support, it is important to be in the top 10-20 programs in terms of exposure, facilities, paying coaches, etc. - all of which fans influence. Beyond that, it’s nearly all about the HC and how well he can fill out a staff, recruit and develop players, and have the leadership to keep the program on the road. And getting the right coach has as much to do with timing as anything else.
