Not sure who would disagree that standards are higher now. Back in the early to mid 90s UGA was pretty damn easy to get into. With the advent of the HOPE scholarship things have changed obviously. It is ridiculously hard to get into UGA now if you're a normal white male in GA at a large high school. I think I was in juuuuust about the last incoming class that could get in with "normal" stats.

I totally agree. KSU is a lot harder to get into than it was 20 years ago too. All of the GA schools are.
I'm simply calling out a clearly young and immature poster who claims every AU grad was turned-down by UGA. Most of the HS kids I know going to Auburn from GA are a legacy.

Its even harder for a white females especially in the northern suburbs.
