Anyone outside of these two fan bases will always say this game was boring. But it was was more intense and serious than any other game I’ve attended. Kind of like tension was never broken. Normally someone will drop a TD and draw first blood and settle everybody in, but there was just some lingering ominous feeling throughout. It was played so tight that every play meant everything. You were just waiting for someone to break a long one for 6 and basically determine the outcome but that never happened.

The Eric Reid pick has to be the play of the game, I thought that was for sure a touchdown when maze released that ball. Think Claiborne jumped a route for an INT on an short out route in this game? TM7 got flagged for throwing Swagpatrick down on a punt return and people were calling him the “holding badger”
Lee got benched for Jefferson after tossing a few picks. I remember Trent Richardson being an absolute monster and that he was only one broken tackle away from busting it on any play.

When Micheal ford scored the TD in overtime we all went ape shite in the upper deck, the girl in front of me turned around and kissed me, only to find out he stepped out of bounds and we then settled for a FG.

Walking out of the stadium was a weird feeling. It was like leaving a funeral. No words were said, even between LSU fans. Outside the stadium was pretty rough though. Only thing worse than losing in Tuscaloosa might be winning. Some people are insane.

That was 6 and 1/2 years ago. Hot damn

Not true in my opinion. When we won in '12 nobody said one mean thing to us upon leaving. A lady even invited us by her tailgate and gave us some vodka before we went to the bar

This is 100% accurate. One of the most tense games I’ve ever been to.
