Exactly, we won a ton of games with shitty QB play but we knew our QBs were shitty. Jalen Hurts is not good. Alabama's defense and overall talent mask his deficiencies. Jordan Jefferson went like 25-6 as a starter and would have likely been 34-6 had he not been suspended the first half of 2011. He was awful. His record as a starter doesn't change that

JJ is the perfect comparison for Jalen. The OP can try to pump his stats but they're not impressive and are even inflated. Aren't like a third of his completions pretty much behind the LOS?

When Tua threw the game winning pass in the NC game the wide receiver was between the 22-20 yard line. He caught the ball around the goal line.
Had GH thrown that pass the wide receiver would have been on the goal line when the ball left his hand and both the CB and Safety would have been fighting over the ball when it came down in the end zone.

That is the difference in the two Qbs. As beat up as we were going into the AU game if Tua had started I feel like we would have won.

But that's just one man's op.
