Hurts does have the arm to take over passing. He's thrown some pretty good bombs the past two years and makes most if not all the throws he needs to make with his arm. His issues have been more mental than physical, throwing into coverage and staring down receivers after bad pre-snap reads. Tua has a better arm but that's not why he was put in the game against us.

My point was that Hurts can sling the ball around and run with mobility and we were able to shut him down. Meanwhile, we had a pure pocket passer with fairly good legs for a white boy who would pull the ball down a few times a game and he nearly took care of business against the mighty Bama. If not for that blown coverage on the very last play of the game, we may have still pulled out a W.
