Braves weren't tired of bullpen pitching their MLB debuts so they put in McCreery in the 8th.

6 to 2 gnats so far. Maybe the braves can get tied for first some other way?

This is a bummer. We were right there.

9th inning comeback? Kurt and Charlie got hits with no outs.

6 to 3 Dansby sac fly. 2 outs though.

Johan struck out to end the game. At least they split. I think Sanchez could've produced a W if he stayed in but that didn't happpen of course. Need some luck to improve ground on the phillies who are playing the padres while the braves play the brewers.

The AA Braves team is the only minor league team I feel I get a chance to see, and look who got promoted to them:

Should end up being our number 1 prospect eventually.
I also only get to see this team when they play the blue wahoos in Pensacola.

Me too, and they don't come back til the end of May 2019. I go to a few ATL Braves games a year and keep wanting to spend the night and checkout Gwinnett or Rome if whichever was home the next day.

They said Sanchez could barely walk after the game, had to have his leg heavily wrapped ... but still hopes to make his next scheduled start against the fish. Read it on Braves' rotosports.

Yeah, internet tough buys are calling out his toughness, but people tend to not understand how much a pitcher uses his legs. If you start trying to compensate for a leg injury, you will more than likely end up with an upper body/throwing arm injury.

I'm gonna go to the AA braves game on Thursday, I'll see Pache for sure, but maybe Ian Anderson will start too and I'll get lucky.

I'd be surprised if the Braves win this first one tonight (happy but surprised) with Gausman vs Peralta with Culberson on the bench, and Freddie, Nick, Ender and Johan trying to carry the load. I like their chances more tomorrow night against that lefty Miley if the Braves' pitcher Julio is having one of his Dr Jekyll days (not Mr Hyde). And the Braves have the best chance imo Sunday afternoon with Newcomb vs Anderson.

Braves sent Parsons and McCreery down to AAA after their first appearance, no argument from me for what that's worth. They brought up the Chads: Sobotka and Bell.

Gausman wasn't great his first start, but he didn't disappoint me either. I feel pretty good about him being a back of the rotation starter to end the year, and maybe he has a great home debut.

Hope so. Braves prospect news, recent draft pick Jenista got promoted again to the High A team in FL.

Wish I could see the Braves' alumni stuff, Dale Murphy is my hero and he's having a blast:

This could be fun even with pitchers hitting and no baseballs if they were mic'd up:
