Reedus I agree about the cornerstone player the cards need. I think MO thought we had that with Oscar Taveras.
If Machado is willing to sign in St. Louis they should open the bank. The Yankees will not pay Stanton, Machado, and probably Bryce Harper.
He would be our cornerstone player for at least 6 to 7 years. He would cost between $35 to 40 million a year. With the young starting pitching we have coming up we could afford it for 5 to 6 years.
Possible starting pitchers in 2020:
Cmart
Reyes
Hicks
Hudson
Weaver
Flaherty

Please no. Love the guy, but I'd be shocked if he stayed in STL after this season.
