Ash, you know we get along well but you are way over zealous on boards when it comes to attacks on God. Let's stick with the original topic of not letting politics get in the way of a Whitehouse visit.

Well we managed to get to page 7 of this thread before the anti-Christian insults started.
If that’s not evidence of divinity, I’m not sure what is.

I’m not attacking it. I have always said people can believe whatever they want to believe in.

I’ve also never said there wasn’t a possibility of a creator. There could be a higher being that set what we call our universe into motion.

I also believe that it is entirely possible that there isn’t a creator. That’s why I consider myself to be agnostic.

My only issue I take with religion is when people demand that others also follow their religion or religious beliefs. There has been a shite ton of violence and murders throughout history in the name of religion (all religion, not just Christianity).

If your beliefs make you a better person, then I’m all for it regardless if you believe in Jesus or worship your own turds.

I simply explain the reasons I don’t believe in human religions. The best guest flaw I see in human religions is that they all put humanity as the center of the universe and the pinnacle of existence. It is a mathematically high improbability that humans are the only intelligent life forms in the universe nor are we likely the first or oldest. Simply put, the universe was not created solely for humans. We are not alone in the universe. Now I’m not saying aliens are visiting earth. I highly doubt they have and probably never will. The universe is extremely vast. So vast that it is beyond human comprehension. Traveling to other planets around other stars takes an extraordinary amount of energy. If there is a way to do it, it is likely that most intelligent life forms frick up somehow and wipe themselves out before making the scientific advancement to be able to travel those distances.
