With the way they've redone backcounting rules, I wouldn't be pissed either way. With scholarships it's use it or lose it per class these days. Well, until someone finds another loophole.

Pruitt never recruited the DB positions great for UGA (at least in terms of * rankings) but he was always able to find really solid lower rated players and develop them, like Dominick Sanders and Aaron Davis.

As far as I can tell, back counting for early enrollees is still allowed, as long as there were fewer than 25 who counted towards the previous class. So you don't necessarily "lose" unused spots if you're under 25 in any given year, assuming you can sign enough midyear enrollees in the next class to count back toward those unused spots.
