I think league leaders avg like 11-12 a game

The league lead each of the last 5 years:

2018: Russell Westbrook (10.1), (Chris Paul with 8 is in 5th place)

2017: James Harden (11.2), (Ricky Rubio with 9.1 was in 5th place)

2016: Rajon Rondo (11.7), (Ricky Rubio with 8.6 was in 5th place)

2015: Chris Paul (10.2), (Rajon Rondo with 7.9 was in 5th place)

2014: Chris Paul (10.7), (Steph Curry with 8.5 was in 5th place)

I could see Sexton having something like 6-7.5 a game maybe. Ben Simmons this season is sitting at 8.1 in 4th place as a rookie and that's pretty high for a rookie.

He also had a redshirt year and his comfort in the offense is significantly higher than your avg rookie. Plus, #TrustTheProcess is legit

As I said above, I'd expect Sexton to find success in a similar manner to Kemba Walker. Walker's rookie season was 12ppg 5apg Sophomore 17ppg 6apg and continued improvement as his 3FG got better

Their college profiles were remarkably similar both near identical statistically + their strengths in explosion + getting into the lane
