Houston, Orlando, and Charlotte have them now. Chicago has one this year at Soldier field, but it's not a season opener. They went local and invited Illinois, but could expand if it's successful. Landover, MD, hosted a mid-season game last year, and has a season opener this year.

Landover and that general area sucks arse. I say that as I lived in Chevy Chase, MD for about a year.

I have been to Soldier Field and its amazing. Easy destination city to get too with loads of amenities. Weather would be perfect. The thing to do there would be to get a quality B1G opponent so their fans would help ensure it sells.

I'm racking my brain trying to think of the last game we played up north. The last one I recall was the old Kick-Off Classic at the Meadowlands against Ohio State so we have done it before. Could you imagine Bama vs tOSU at Soldier Field?

I lived in downtown Chicago for a couple years, right by the lake, walking distance from Soldier Field. It's such a classic looking stadium. Great city from May through October. The winters are frickin' brutal though. It'd be great to play a B1G team there on a Labor Day weekend.
