De Oca lasted 6 vs LaSalle last night and Harris hitting in the two hole ahead of Misner is tough on opposing pitchers.

De Oca continued to struggle with location. He jerks his head to the left just before his plant foot hits the ground and he has no clue where his breaking ball is going to end up. It will be interesting to see how he fares in Baton Rouge next Friday night.

De Oca is that guy who can shut down LSU then get tagged by an eastern Illinois. We’ll go as far as the bats take us which honestly might be surprisingly far. Hot take.

He certainly has the arm to be one of the dominant pitchers in the conference.

Toelken is in the middle of a solid outing on the back end of a double header. 1 hit shutout through 6.

Not quite the start they had last year but winning games they should for the most part.

Probably from being a power pitcher and being able to get by with just a fastball for so long. Thrower versus pitcher.
