Saint Louis! 59.8 Great place to put the SEC Tournament! Baltimore was so close at 57.8

The next closest is 43.4.. Detroit Michigan.

And as much as I kid about Memphis, Memphis seems like a safe zone compared to this at 20.5. that's how bad Saint Louis is.

And yes Nashville where we we had it last year was 10.9.

Idk, maybe the new qualifications for SEC Should be "Must not have the largest murder rate of major US Cities". Just a thought.

Because for those of us actually going to the SEC Tournament, we actually want to make it back home.

Has anyone attending the tournament been murdered yet? I think those stats only refer to residents, so attend the tourney, just don't move there.

It's racist to say "Murders." Just use the word "Diversity" instead.

These numbers are excessively high for any population. It's baffling to see Saint Louis this high. Sure Birmingham and Jackson are in the 30s and New Orleans is in the 40s. But the fact that this town is almost in the 60s is amazing when Kansas City is in the low 20s.

Ever been to a game at the Dome/Philips/Benz in Atlanta? Get about 3 blocks west and it is incredibly rough. Nobody cares, everybody goes, doesn't matter.

Don't count Memphis out just yet! It's early and they always turn it around in the 3rd, 4th quarters!

"Atlanta" includes Virginia Highlands, Buckhead and Mt Paran. I guarantee West End's numbers aren't in the low 20s.

I'm convinced that the people who are worried about the location are the same fans who paint their faces and wear some obnoxious jersey/hardhat/helmet/mask costume.

Breaking news: Folks would like to murder you at your home venue too

How the hell are so many people murdered in Anchorage Alaska according to those stats?

Let's not have the SEC Tournament there either.

I say we have it in El Paso every year. Beautiful stats. The best murder rate. Huuuuuuuuuuuge ratings.
