I’ve been to St. Louis many times over the years primarily for work but also for some vacationing. I’ve enjoyed my visits there and have never had any incidents. Like most cities just use a little common sense in where you go and what you do.

I never felt threatened there. However, there are a lot of desolate areas a stones throw away.
That said, top to bottom, Nashville is such a better place to host. They need to be done with the St Louis experiment after this year. There is nothing it offers that is better than Nashville.
