Trent Dilfer, Mark Rypien, and Jeff Hostetler all started in and won a Super Bowl. Brad Johnson, Nick Foles, and Joe Flacco did too. Are any of these guys Hall of Fame material or not? Maybe if they'd gotten Ike Turner drunk and wore a body length fur coat and guaranteeing a Super Bowl victory would have done it?

some of you guys are letting your disdain for Alabama -- or some of the Alabama posters cloud your judgment on Namath. Namath was awesome. His injuries went back to college. Had he been 85% healthy he'd had Marino numbers.

Namath deserves every football superlative afforded him.

Wow did Namath hang out with Ike Turner and get him drunk? or do you mean "Ike-Turner-Drunk" as in like ... "from 1 to Jim Lahey, how drunk are you?"

The American Football League (AFL) All-Time Team was selected on January 14, 1970. The first and second teams were determined by a panel of members of the AFL's Hall of Fame Board of Selectors.
Joe Namath was voted 1st team Quarterback

It's interesting to know that you're an expert on football and these people aren't.
