He played 13 NFL seasons and only busted a 50% comp percentage 6 times. He threw for more than 3,000 yards 3 times and averaged around 10 TD a year. I get it that he played in a more run friendly league, but there a re a lot of QB's during that time that had better stats.

He was voted the American Football League (AFL) All-Time first team QB (Len Dawson was 2nd team)....and he did it with the knees of an 80 year old. Joe Namath was the best athlete to ever attend The University of Alabama.
