Do they realize there are other places in the world to go?

We have friends here in Columbia who go at least 4 times per year and will occasionally throw in a Disney Cruise just for shits and giggles.
Engagement portraits? Disney
Bachelorette party? Disney (she tried to get him to do the bachelor party there)
Wedding? Disney
Two baby announcement photos? Disney
It's pretty god damn infuriating how much they love blowing money at that place.

I agree it's nuts
And they get mad when you ask the question
All I'm saying is that everyone I know has been to Disney a time or two, but I don't think I know anyone that goes every other year, much less multiple times in a calendar year.
Have nothing against Disney FWIW, I just think it's an interesting regional/cultural phenomenon

I think a lot of BR people go too. I also don't quite get the appeal. I've been twice, once as a kid, once as an adult. Two observations: it's expensive for what you get, and at least for me, I had a hard time getting over the "fakeness" of everything.
