St. Louis is more "centrally located" than Kansas City would be. The Big 12 has KC locked down anyway.

These tournaments need to rotate. I don't give a frick if they are on opposite ends of the league. The "centrally located" sites are a long fricking way from several schools, and we've tolerated that shite for 25 years.

I'm all for SEC tournaments in Dallas, KC and Memphis.

And they will once every 4/5 years.

The only logical locations are

Atlanta
Nashville
Memphis
New Orleans
Houston
Dallas
St Louis
Orlando

Kansas City, San Antonio and Louisville have arenas that would work, but there are better options in those regions.

You're Arkansas. You'll sit down, shut up, and do what you're told.
