the point being, 6 of 11 SEC states border non-league states. If the plan is to have some slight rotation for venues, very high % its going to be in a location close to non-SEC areas. this isnt shocking news.
Again, its easier if people just realize this isnt the 1960's anymore

It's not that big a deal. Mizzou is new to the league, St Louis is a big enough city and it is also close enough to 2 big basketball fanbases, Arkansas and Kentucky, that UK/Arky fans will show up. Throw in Missouri and the fascination of the a new thing (plus a good league) and it'll be a solid tournament.

Not really sure what this means. The SEC tournament should, and will be, in one of the SEC's big centrally located cities for the majority of it's events (Nashville, Atlanta) or New Orleans (because it is New Orleans). It will venture to the fringes a few times a decade (St Louis, Tampa, Houston) and we will all lament that it is far, and then it will return home.
If you guys think this is bad you should have heard the bitching about the year it was in Tampa. It was a disaster (both people being pissed and the tournament itself).
